YOU! Newsletter was first established in February 2011, by Jawaher Zahran, with the idea of speaking topics to each person directly, inspiring others, and spreading information on an online platform. The newsletter is registered with the Ministry of Commerce. It is a Jeddah-based platform for only good news, happenings, facts of life, and more. The newsletter also publishes issues semiannually, every summer (August) and winter (January). The idea first began as a deep passion of a college student for journalism and as a newsletter to an ‘English Journalism Club’ at the university. Later on, it became a stand-alone online newsletter.

YOU! Newsletter was created to educate and inspire people about the different colors of knowledge and to share a variety of interesting topics while promoting positive change and making a difference in each & every individual’s life.
Why name it YOU?
It was named “YOU” because this pronoun is good when speaking directly to people. The newsletter wants to speak to each individual without any boundaries, to give a private and personal feel to the reader.
