How can it be harmful?

Like any caffeinated drink, consuming too much Matcha can increase anxiety and affect sleeping patterns. In addition to caffeine, matcha lattes with added flavors can put sugar into your body that you don’t really need. Matcha has Tannin as an ingredient which interferes with iron absorption and limit it. Studies also show that overdrinking it causes liver problems

We cannot conclude whether matcha is good or bad for you; it depends on how often you drink it. It is not about stopping matcha altogether. Matcha can be beneficial only if taken in moderation. However, a high dose can turn its health benefits into health risks. So make a conscious decision each time you plan on having it.
